Creating Personal Space: Natasha's Witchy Room Aesthetic
I recently went through a divorce and it left me feeling lonely, out-of-place and unsure of where to go next. Our room, now my room, has always been decorated with my ex-husband’s stuff, I’d never fully felt comfortable there so I vowed to myself during the process that I would make this space my own. Needless to say, I went nuts buying anything and everything my heart desired. The outcome? While shopping for home décor may not be a cure-all, I can confidently say that this space is mine and when I enter my room I feel at peace. This is my space and I am safe here. This is my sanctuary.

Creating personal space where you feel safe, grounded, and fully yourself is so important especially when you’re going through a point of upheaval in your life. Shit happens, life gets turned on it’s head and that is something no one is immune too but when we have a place to come back down and steady ourselves, we give ourselves a place of empowerment. I hope these photos and my story can inspire you to build a place for you. Something as small as shelves and wall tapestries can make a world of difference when your life is a tornado.
Give yourself tangible objects to help feel at peace within yourself. How are you working to transform your space? What makes you feel at peace? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Leave me a comment below or shoot me a DM @nourishednatasha on Instagram!
